First, isn't this currently 'the game' for Valve? IMO each patch is making the game worse. I remember when I first got it there were few minor things, but as they started 'fixing' things it just seems to get worse. The AI seems to have become even more retarded (somehow possible), I can't seem to sucessfully charge anyone, and the Spitter's AoE is not confined to spit as it is displayed (though they just fix the launch point .
Thoughts on the subject?

I remember everyone was playing L4D all the time and I was doing my usual stingy "I'm not paying $50 for basically a mod" thing. I admit, I was wrong in this respect because if the first game is anything like the second then I missed out. So I get the second and became hooked...and now no one plays it. Maybe its my fault and you guys are played out from the first one. lol.
Anyways, I'm on a lot, usually after 8 if anyone needs another player for a game. And the rain will kill us all...

I think they nerfed the hit box. That and because it is a contact entity over the Net latency of any sort just screws you. I've run through the center of entire groups and hit nothing. Oh well, I've gotten over the "newness" of the game and its now just a game I play when I have the time. And the rain will kill us all...
